Visit the university campus
You will need to visit the university campus in Murthal to submit your transcript application in person. You CANNOT apply online or send your application by post.
When you reach the gate, ask the gatekeeper or any university official about the Admin block. It’s one of the first buildings when you enter the university campus. It’s also called Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan building.
Once you are inside this building, go to the Accounts Branch.

This is the office where you will submit your transcript fees.
Fees for transcripts at DCRUST Murthal
The transcript fees of DCRUST Murthal is Rs 500 per transcript.
So, if you want just 1 copy of your transcript, then your fees will be Rs 500. For 2 copies of transcript, your fees will be Rs 1000.
It’s advisable to get atleast 2 copies of transcripts, just in case.
After submitting the fees in the Accounts department, you will be given a fee receipt. Take a picture of the receipt.

Then, head to the Results Branch on the first floor of the Admin block. and find the clerk responsible for transcript applications.
The clerk will first check your fee receipt and then review your documents. If everything is okay, then you will be asked to come after 3-4 days to collect your transcripts.

Make sure that you mention to the clerk that you need your transcripts in a sealed envelope with a signature and stamp.
If you are taking the transcripts for personal use, ask them to NOT put the date and address on the sealed envelope. You just need the seal and stamp in that case.
Like I mentioned earlier, it’s always a good idea to keep atleast 2 copies of transcripts with yourself. You can ask for an open transcript copy as well (unsealed) to scan and upload it online, if needed.
That’s it! Your application process is complete.
How long does it take to get transcripts from DCRUST?
It usually takes 3-4 days for the university to provide transcripts, provided your application form and all the photocopies are in order.
Note that the university DOES NOT send transcripts to any addresses or international organizations, such as WES, IQAS, etc. You have to visit the university campus in person to collect your transcripts from the office.
If you cannot go to the university in person, can you still apply for transcripts at DCRUST?
One of the biggest challenges that many students face while applying for transcripts at DCRUST is that the entire application process is offline. This means that someone has to visit the university office in person to submit the transcript application.
Unfortunately, this can be difficult for students who live in other states or in foreign countries such as Canada, the US, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and so on.
Since there is no provision to apply online, the applicant has no choice but to send someone to the university campus to submit the application form and documents.
What if you cannot visit the university campus?
If you cannot visit the university campus in person, you can send someone on your behalf, like a friend or relative. However, I understand that many students cannot visit the campus and don’t have anyone who can visit the campus on their behalf.
To assist these students, I offer to go to the university and submit their transcript applications on their behalf. I charge a small fee for this service.
So, if you cannot visit the campus and require my help submitting your transcript application, please comment at the end of the article. I will contact you on the email address you use to post your comment below.
If you have any questions related to the transcript process, post your question/query in the comments below. I will answer your questions and provide help to the best of my knowledge.
Good luck!
