Step-by-step transcript application process at PAU Ludhiana
These are the steps you need to follow to apply for your transcripts at Punjab Agricultural University:
1 – Write a cover letter to the Registrar
Most universities have a specific application form that candidates need to fill out to obtain their transcripts. However, if you require transcripts from PAU Ludhiana, you will need to write a cover letter to the Registrar requesting issuance of your transcripts. In the cover letter, you should include your personal details, requirements, and the purpose of obtaining the transcripts.
2 – Attach photocopies of your certificates
You need to attach photocopies of your marksheets (DMC) and degree certificate of the degree for which you want to get your transcripts. Once your cover letter and photocopies of documents are ready, go to Thapar hall, second floor and submit your documents in the office there. After checking your documents, you’ll be told the fees that you need to submit.

4 – Submit your fees
Your fees will be submitted in a different room on the second floor of Thapar hall. In order to submit your fees, you will be provided with a form. Just select the options that apply in your case and mention the fees that you are asked to submit. Your fees will be collected there and you will be given a fee receipt. Keep this fee receipt safe; better take its picture for good measure.
Fees of transcript of PAU Ludhiana
The fees of transcripts of PAU depends on the number of documents you attach with your application. The exact fees per document is Rs 530.
For example, if you want transcripts from a BSc degree, which has 6 semesters, then your total documents should be 7 (6 marksheets + 1 degree certificate).
Therefore, your total transcript fees would be 530 x 7 = Rs 3710.
5 – Submit the fee receipt
Go back to the same room where you first submitted your documents and now submit your fee receipt there. This step is done to confirm that you have submitted the required fees for your documents.
The clerk will give you a date on which you need to come back to collect your transcript. It usually takes 10-15 working days.
