Punjabi University Transcript Fees

The fees for getting transcripts at Punjabi University is Rs 18230. In this fees, you will get two sets of transcripts. This DOES NOT include the price of the sending the transcript to a foreign institution (like WES or IQAS). There is an extra charge for that.

Challenges of transcript application at Punjabi University

Applying for transcripts at Punjabi University can be quite difficult! Especially to someone who has not applied for transcripts before.

First, the official website of Punjabi university neither gives any clear information nor releases announcements or updates regarding the transcript application process. This is particularly terrible, especially because so many students apply for transcripts from OUTSIDE India, and therefore, cannot go to the university campus in person.

Then, there’s the problem of false information circulating on the internet, especially forums like Quora.

Incorrect information on Quora

When you google “how to get transcripts from Punjabi University’, you may come across a Quora page.

The following is a screenshot one of the top answers on a popular Quora page regarding Punjabi university transcripts; as you can see, this answer is from Dec 2018, which means in January 2026, it is more than 7 years old! So much about the application process has changed since then!

Similarly, there are many such answers on that particular Quora page which are either very old (and hence provide outdated information) or provide incorrect info. The fees, for example, has changed a few times in the last 6 years.

This is why I regularly update this article so that it has the latest information regarding the transcript application process.

Should I apply online or offline for my transcript at Punjabi University?

Currently, there is ONLY ONE way to apply for transcript at Punjabi university – ONLINE.

Earlier, the university accepted both offline and online applications.

But now Punjabi university has completely moved to the online mode – they don’t accept offline applications anymore.

So, don’t go to the university campus to submit your transcript application. Your application will not be accepted offline.

When I returned from Canada, I needed to apply for my transcript at Punjabi University. After going through the entire application process, I felt that the transcript application process was too confusing.
